In the current CNC lathe market, the 6150 CNC lathe has its unique advantages in terms of application fields, processing efficiency, and quality. When using the 6150 CNC lathe, especially when it
is first used, the coordinate system needs to be initialized. We need to set corresponding parameters according to our own project needs. Therefore, there are some principles to follow when
initializing. Today, we will explain the four basic principles of initializing coordinates for the 6150 CNC lathe.
1. Always assume that the workpiece is stationary and the 6150 CNC lathe tool moves
relative to the workpiece.
The coordinate system of the 2.6150 CNC lathe adopts a right-handed Cartesian coordinate system. The direction of the thumb is in the positive direction of the X-axis, the
index finger is in the positive direction of the Y-axis, and the middle finger is in the positive direction of the Z-axis. Based on the determination of the X, Y, and Z coordinates of the 6150 CNC
lathe, using the right-hand screw rule, it is easy to determine the direction of the rotation coordinates A, B, and C of the 6150 CNC lathe.
3. The Z-axis motion of the 6150 CNC lathe is determined
by the spindle that transmits cutting power. The coordinate axis parallel to the spindle axis is the Z-axis, and the X-axis is horizontal, parallel to the workpiece clamping surface and
perpendicular to the Z-axis.
4. The direction in which the tool moves away from the workpiece is specified as the positive direction of the coordinate axis.
According to the above principles, when
the 6150 CNC lathe is a front tool holder, the X-axis is forward and points towards the operator; When the 6150 CNC lathe is a rear mounted tool holder, the X-axis is facing forward and backward,
away from the operator.
The above are the four basic principles for initializing coordinates of the 6150 CNC lathe. I hope the above explanation can be helpful for everyone in using the 6150 CNC
lathe in the future.
